KEVIN NIXON
Kevin is a long-time contributor to Classic Rock, and he has also worked extensively with our sister magazines Metal Hammer and Prog. This issue he photographed Pete Agnew for us at the Hard Rock Café in London (p62) and also shot the triple bill of Heep, Saxon and Priest (p102). When he is not in a photo pit he can often be found exploring and photographing disused railway tunnels, cathedrals and abandoned buildings.
NIALL DOHERTY
Niall is a music writer based on the Essex Riviera. He co-runs the music Substack letter The New Cue and also writes for Music Week, FourFourTwo, Apple Music and others. This issue he talked to Lenny Kravitz about his supernova career (p58), but unfortunately the interview took place before Lenny released a video of himself lifting weights while wearing leather trousers, so they didn’t discuss that. Next time.
