A record 524,382 visitors swarmed to the Regent Street Motor Show, which hosted the annual Veteran Car Concours d’elegance on 4 November ahead of the London to Brighton Run the following day.

Malcolm Ginns’ 1903 Darracq was crowned the overall winner, while the Spectator’s Choice, voted for by the public, was David Pain’s 1904 Albion Wagonette. The Judges’ Special Award was given to Jonathan Proctor’s 1898 Panhard et Levassor, and Italian Domenico Paterlini took the laurels for Best Presented French Car with his 1900 Rochet.
