A record 524,382 vis­i­tors swarmed to the Re­gent Street Mo­tor Show, which hosted the an­nual Vet­eran Car Con­cours d’el­e­gance on 4 Novem­ber ahead of the Lon­don to Brighton Run the fol­low­ing day.

Mal­colm Ginns’ 1903 Dar­racq was crowned the over­all win­ner, while the Spectator’s Choice, voted for by the pub­lic, was David Pain’s 1904 Al­bion Wagonette. The Judges’ Spe­cial Award was given to Jonathan Proc­tor’s 1898 Pan­hard et Levas­sor, and Ital­ian Domenico Pater­lini took the lau­rels for Best Pre­sented French Car with his 1900 Ro­chet.
