Peter Auto held its fi­nal meet­ing of 2017 at Paul Ri­card on 21-22 Oc­to­ber. Le Mans win­ners Emanuele Pirro and Derek Bell were on hand for the Dix Mille Tours de Castel­let, which in­cluded seven grids.

Martin Stret­ton (March 742) and Matthew Watts (March 772) fin­ished only three-tenths apart in the first F2 en­counter, with Stret­ton tak­ing the win. Watts made amends by pip­ping Philippe Sce­mama (March 752) in the sec­ond stanza. Kri­ton Len­doudis (Mercedes C11) claimed a dou­ble in the Group C races, while Peter Muelder did like­wise in Tro­feo Nas­tro Rosso aboard his Biz­zarrini 5300GT. Chris­tian Du­molin and Christophe van Riet’s 289 Co­bra was the class of the Sixties En­durance field, tak­ing a com­fort­able vic­tory ahead of Alain Ruede’s 427, and Chris­tian Traber (BMW CSL) had the mea­sure of David Tom­lin’s Es­cort in the Her­itage Tour­ing Cup.
