Comments and clarifications
Further to your interesting article on the 1985 BMW M635CSI bought by the Earl of Pembroke (C&SC, October), may I point out that it does not bear the original registration as stated, but a recent County Antrim plate from 2013. I would think his Lordship will find a year-related Belfast plate with ease, to make the car closer to the original.

I think Martin Buckley got his facts wrong in the historical context set out in his article about the Fiat 130 Maremma built for Gianni Agnelli (C&SC, November). Surely Agnelli’s long-term partner who ‘caught him in bed’ with his young lady passenger would have been not Sarah Churchill but Pamela Harriman, née Digby, who began a relationship with him in ’48 after divorce from Randolph Churchill. Thanks for publishing the Look familiar on my Triumph TR3A (Lost & found, October), but there is one slight glitch: the registration quoted is VHP 528, but it should be VHP 529.
