‘GBBO is heading for a big ratings drop!’

CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER STAR AND GBBO ADDICT NICOLA MCLEAN, 35, SAYS: “I’m a really big fan of the original. I have to say that the new line-up was definitely a shock. The show is obviously about baking and it screams homely, countryside living. Noel Fielding is known for his left-field, edgy type of comedy and I’m not sure that fits in with the sweet nature of the show. I wish they’d picked someone more mumsy and relatable. As for the other judges, I haven’t heard of Prue Leith and Sandi Toksvig – C4 are clearly going in a completely opposite direction. It’s sad because I think they’re making a huge mistake – like when Simon Cowell took Dermot O’leary off The X Factor. It wasn’t the same show. Paul Hollywood is a strong personality, so I’m sure he’ll be holding down the new series, but I’m predicting a big ratings drop. Mary Berry with Mel and Sue surely can’t be beaten!”
