As reports claim Angelina Jolie adopted her eldest son with ‘fake’ details, insiders say she’s turned to estranged husband Brad for support
She’s already going through a bitter divorce and custody battle with her estranged husband Brad Pitt, and now Angelina Jolie has been hit with more heartbreak over eldest son Maddox.
Last week, a Cambodian aid worker claimed court documents relating to Angelina’s adoption of Maddox, now 15, had been faked. Mounh Sarath, 51, revealed he falsely said he was the father of the boy to speed up the process of passing him into the actress’ care in 2002. He said: “In court documents, Maddox is still my son. She [Angelina] never cleared this up. She had to change his name, so the only way was for me to do it. I said he’s my son.”
Worryingly, the aid worker claimed he still has power of attorney over Maddox. While there is no implication that Angelina, 41, was aware of the false documents, insiders say she’s enlisted a team of top lawyers to deal with the situation. Angelina, who has

A source says: “Ange is coming to terms with the end of her marriage and the thought of her family being ripped apart again is scary.”
The actress ended her marriage to Brad in September after 12 years together, citing “irreconcilable differences” and went for full custody of their children: Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and eightyear-old twins Vivienne and Knox. But pals say she wants to put the fighting behind them and join forces with Brad, 53, to fight for their son.
A source says: “Angelina’s asked Brad to help. In return, she’s promised to review how they’re dealing with the custody battle. He’s agreed to help, but he wants to sort out their divorce issues too.”
