Danielle & nicola: it’s war!
The vitriolic feud between the two former glamour models has been reignited – and pals say neither is backing down
They’ve made no secret of the fact they’re enemies – but last week the feud between Danielle Lloyd and Nicola Mclean reached boiling point after a row erupted on Twitter.
When pregnant Danielle, 33, found out she was expecting another boy live on Loose Women, former TOWIE star Maria Fowler accused the mum-of-three of staging her delight at the scan result, after a baby clinic Tweeted that they’d seen the TV star earlier that week.
And Celebrity Big Brother star Nicola, 35, was quick to wade in on the accusations, Tweeting: “What??? So the sex wasn’t found out live on Loose Women?”

Danielle – who had previously spoken about her desire for a baby girl but was overcome with emotion at discovering she was expecting a boy – furiously denied the claim and took a swipe at Nicola by suggesting she appeared on CBB for pure publicity, without being paid a fee. She Tweeted: “Yeah I found out live nicola are u piping up again for 5 mins do not talk about mine and my partners son did u get payed 4 big bro this time.”
Nicola accused her of lying again, writing: “@miracleprogress you didn’t find out live on air babe please stop with the lies.” To which Danielle replied: “It’s very sad when girls are so obsessed with trying to bring me down it shows immaturity and jealousy… the obsession with me is unhealthy” and re-tweeted various critical posts about Nicola.

And now sources say that both women are reeling with anger after their latest clash.
A source says: “Danielle and Nicola have been at each other’s throats for so long but they won’t let it go. Danielle’s blood is boiling that Maria and Nicola have decided to take a swipe at her on Twitter when she’s happily pregnant and everything is going well for her. She thinks it’s a low blow.
“Meanwhile, Nicola feels that Danielle is way too big for her boots and needs knocking down to size. She’s told friends she’ll say what she wants and doesn’t care about the repercussions.”
London-born Nicola and Liverpudlian Danielle were both former glamour models and WAGS, married to footballers Tom Williams and Jamie O’hara respectively – and seemed at ease together when they were pictured in 2013 on a street called “Wagmore.”

But just a year later, after both Danielle and Nicola left their husbands amid cheating allegations, former CBB star Aisleyne Horgan-wallace pointed out that some flowers Danielle had received looked very similar to some Nicola had also been given, implying that the same man had been seeing both women.
Nicola, who has now reconciled with husband Tom, then took a swipe at Danielle, telling Closer that some people should “follow the girl code a bit better.” The fight picked up once again earlier this year, when
Nicola entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in January alongside Danielle’s ex Jamie – calling Danielle a “wannabe ****** WAG” and a “d d.”
‘barefaced liar’
On the outside world, Danielle defended herself on Twitter, claiming that Nicola had “always fancied” Jamie after the pair flirted on screen, and that Nicola had lied about attending her wedding in 2012.
Nicola told Closer recently: “I’ve blocked her from my Twitter and I’ve also blocked her family. I haven’t read anything. Honestly, she’s so far from my radar.
“Danielle even said I didn’t go to her wedding – she’s just embarrassed that she invited me because we weren’t friends and she just needed some celebs to make up her guest-list! I just went to be nosy to be honest, but I was 100% there.” Earlier this year, Danielle responded to Nicola’s claims, saying: “Nicola Mclean was not at my wedding just to confirm! And if Nicola turned up in the night she was definitely a wedding crasher.” A source says: “Danielle thinks Nicola is a barefaced liar. She thinks she’ll stop at nothing to drag her reputation through the mud.”
And pals say the two women aren’t interested in making amends. A source adds: “Luckily, Danielle’s based in Birmingham and Nicola’s down south so there’s little chance they’ll bump into each other any time soon. It’s gone too far for them to resolve their problems now.”
A rep for Danielle says: “Danielle is too busy bringing up her three children and being the best mum she can to be bothered by comments from a bitter, negative woman”.
