‘It’s taken time to become confident’

The band have faced controversy in the past for their provocative outfits, but Little Mix’s Leigh-anne Pinnock says they try to brush off their critics and are celebrating their bodies.

She says: “We’re all so body confident now and that has taken a lot of time to build. I think that’s an amazing thing and we really want to encourage our fans and everyone to be exactly the same way. Wear what you want and be comfortable in it and sod what everyone else thinks!”

The singer, 25, has revealed she trains four times a week, focusing on squats and ab work. She also admitted to having her meals cooked for her while she’s on tour so she gets the right nutrition to fuel her busy lifestyle. As well as smoothies, she admits a passion for peanut butter protein shakes. Leighanne loves her “bum and waist” and says her definition of being sexy is “confidence,” adding: “You can be sexy however you look, as long as you have the confidence to rock it.”
