Jordan: “I want Kieran to be a better version of Pete”
Insiders reveal Jordan is trying to shape her life with husband Kieran Hayler into what she had with ex Peter Andre
She’s admitted to being a “frustrated pop star” and, last week, Jordan hinted at resurrecting her music dreams yet again when she shared a video of her husband Kieran Hayler singing, writing: “I can feel a duet coming on!”
Her declaration comes over a decade after Jordan – real name Katie Price – released an album with then-husband Peter Andre in 2006. And now pals fear the mum-of-five is hooked on trying to recreate her former life with Pete – when they were one of the biggest celebrity power couples.
THE GLORY DAYS
A source says: “Katie sometimes feels she was at the top of her game when she and Pete were together. She loved how she looked and felt she was at the height of her fame. She sees them as the glory days and feels she may never be able to recreate the kind of power status she had with Pete with anyone else.
“She seems to be increasingly obsessed with creating that kind of celebrity status with Kieran.”
In their heyday, Jordan and Pete did several reality TV shows together. Last year, Kieran, 30, appeared in Jordan’s Pony Club show and the couple are currently filming their new family reality series. While married to Jordan, Pete had “Katie” tattooed on his wedding ring finger; Kieran has a huge inking of Jordan on his leg.
But while Pete’s 22-month marriage to medical student Emily Macdonagh, 27 – with whom he has Amelia, three, and Theo, four months – has remained happy, Jordan’s fouryear marriage to Kieran has been rocked by controversy after it was revealed in 2014 he had cheated on her with two of her best pals.
Sources say Jordan is now determined not to let either her fractured marriage, or Pete and Emily’s growing celeb status, overshadow her plans to put her and Kieran back in the spotlight.

A source says: “Katie was hoping to create a ‘better version of Pete’ with Kieran, but it all went wrong when he cheated. Now that enough time has passed for the dust to settle, she wants to reinstate her plan. As well as their reality show, Katie wants to release an album and put her and Kieran back on track with joint endorsement deals and shoots.”
Sources say Jordan is also planning even more surgery in a bid to turn back the clock Earlier this year, the selfconfessed surgery fan sparked speculation she’d had a face lift when she was snapped with a scar on the side of her face. And last week she confirmed she’d had work done when she publicly thanked nurses for her treatments on her face and lips.
Now friends say Jordan is set on looking exactly how she did at the height of her fame. A source says: “Katie seems to be hooked on the past. She’s even resorted to altering her looks to try to look like she did at her happiest time.”
