Kerry: “Yoga’s helping me keep my new body!”
Pals say the mum-of-five has cut back on the booze and is on a pre-pregnancy health kick before she has her sixth baby
Kerry Katona’s K looking in great shape recently, and now insiders say she’s determined to reach her ideal size 8 body before she has baby No 6 with ex-con husband George Kay.
The Atomic Kitten singer is down to 8½st – the slimmest she’s been since splitting from her second husband, Mark Croft, in 2010.
Kerry, 36, has yo-yo’d between a size 16 and 14st to a size 8 and 8st since shooting to fame with Atomic Kitten in 1998.
She had her first boob job in 2005, taking her to a 34Gg-cup, then had them reduced to a 34DD in 2008, plus lipo on her legs, hips and stomach.
HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE
In April 2012, she had a tummy tuck and lipo, after being unable to shift her “kangaroo pouch.”
She vowed her third round of surgery – lipo and a mini tummy tuck – last October, would be her last, but Kerry was snapped having 3D Lipo last month.
“The lipo was non-surgical and just for toning up,” says a source. “Kerry wanted her bum and thighs to be smooth and get rid of lumps and bumps.
“She’s turned a corner with her lifestyle. She’s drinking juices and shakes, has cut down on the booze, and is doing lots of yoga. She’s never felt better, physically or mentally.”
LESS TENSION
Two weeks ago, Closer revealed Kerry’s plans to get pregnant with her sixth baby with George, 36, this summer. The source adds: “George is pleased with Kerry’s new lifestyle and even helps with her work out. They’re getting on better. He’s been out doing security work and feels like he’s contributing to the household, which has reduced the tension around Kerry being the breadwinner.”
Kerry is spending more time at home ahead of Molly, 15, moving to Ireland to continue her studies this September.
The source adds: “Kerry wants to spend every moment she has with her. They plan to Facetime loads and Kerry’s said she’ll visit Ireland for girlie weekends. Molly gives her lots of support and she’ll really miss her.”
