‘It’s liberating being without Kieran!’
Insiders say Jordan’s double life is causing tension with husband Kieran Hayler after she lets her hair down in America while filming new reality show

Parading her famous curves in a blue bikini on a Miami beach last week, a tonedlooking Jordan seemed to have turned back the clock to when she was a top glamour model.
And as Jordan – aka Katie Price – filmed scenes for her reality show Katie Price: My Crazy Life, insiders say the mum-of-five, 38, has at times been craving her old life and has told friends she enjoys having time apart from her husband, Kieran Hayler, 30.
Last week, the Loose Women panellist spoke about her double life with her alter-ego, saying: “Jordan wants to calm down a bit, but Katie wants to spice up her life a bit like Jordan’s.”
RISING TENSION
But sources say her Jordan persona is causing tension with former stripper Kieran – dad to Jett, three, and Bunny, two, as well as stepdad to her other children, Harvey, 14, Junior, 11, and Princess, nine – who was at home looking after the children in Sussex while she was living it up in the US.
A source says: “Katie’s admitted she seeks some of the thrills from life as Jordan and being in Miami away from Kieran reminded her of how free and happy she used to be before marriage and kids.
“She loves her family and wouldn’t change being a mum for the world, but when she landed in Miami, she was enjoying letting loose without the ‘restraints’ of being with Kieran. It reminded her of how she used to feel as a pin-up – something she misses.
“Katie said that back home with Kieran she sometimes feels like a boring wife and says that it can feel liberating when they spend time apart. She’s been making much more of an effort with Kieran since they’ve been filming her show and of course she likes it when they’re together, but sometimes she just wants to let her hair down. It causes tension and they exchanged angry messages – Kieran told her he felt like the ‘manny’ and said he was fed up with being a stay-at-home dad while she was out partying.”
The couple have worked hard to repair their marriage since Kieran cheated on Jordan with two of her best friends in 2014. But more recently Jordan raised eyebrows after she had a two-hour meet-up with Scotty T last October – though she later revealed he was just taking her to a sunbed session. She then drunkenly stripped off in the toilets during a public appearance for a company party two months later.

A source says: “Katie knows she’s acted erratically recently so wants to placate Kieran and rebuild things with him. She’s insisted she was just busy with filming and said he shouldn’t expect to go on every work trip with her. But she admitted to pals that she enjoyed the sense of freedom she felt whenever he wasn’t around.”
Sources say the star is now hellbent on bringing back Jordan and maintaining her independence once she returns home – a move pals fear could shake her marriage to Kieran.
A source adds: “Katie wants two distinct, separate lives and is adamant she can juggle both. She plans to get back on the party scene with her friends while Kieran’s at home, to help her re-carve out her Jordan persona.
“Kieran’s unhappy with this and said she can’t have her cake and eat it – coming home to him whenever she wants that comfort blanket. Katie’s insisting that’s not what it’s about and she’ll find the right balance. She has told Kieran it’ll make her a happier wife by giving her back a piece of her life that she’s been missing.”
