She was linked to S DJ Tom Zanetti just three weeks ago, reportedly sending husband Kieran Hayler into a “jealous rage” as she posted a busty picture of her cosying up to the British DJ as they filmed her new reality show My Crazy Life in Miami. Insiders say that despite it causing friction in her already fractured marriage, Jordan – real name Katie Price – has continued her friendship with the hunky musician and refused to back down over their plans to release a dance track together this summer and reignite her failed pop career.
A source said: “Kieran’s made it clear to Katie that he isn’t comfortable with her spending time with Tom. He doesn’t believe they’re anything more than friends, but he’s been unhappy with how much attention the friendship has attracted. Katie’s told him there’s nothing to worry about, but she’s refusing to stop seeing Tom.”
In an effort to reassure Kieran, Jordan invited him to join her in the studio with Tom. Kieran, 30, then posted a pic, captioning it: “Take your husband to work day !!!! Haha. Love taking a rare day off the farm to come to work and filming with my gorgeous wife.”
A source says: “Kieran wants to put his stamp on Katie and wanted everyone to know he’d been at the studio. He made light of the situation but, deep down, he has some serious concerns over Tom.”
WILD NIGHT OUT
The former glamour model, 39, hit the headlines during her trip to the States earlier this month when she was snapped topless during a racy photo shoot.
She was also pictured getting “touchy feely” with a mystery man on a booze-fuelled night out – despite having vowed to
quit alcohol earlier this year. On the same night, partygoers described how she was making a scene, adding “no one had a clue who she was so she kept shouting: ‘Google me!’”
But despite hitting the headlines for her sudden close friendship with DJ Tom, pals say Jordan has refused to cool their relationship. A source says: “Katie met Tom at a club event and they hit it off. She’s been at a number of his club nights since and they’ve hatched a plan to relaunch both of their music careers.”
ISOLATED
And sources say tension is mounting between Jordan and Kieran as she’s revealed even more future plans with the DJ.
A source says: “Katie’s friendship with Tom has caused increased tension between them. Kieran doesn’t want Katie enlisting another man to make her more famous; he wants her to start seeing him as an equal and treating him like a proper husband. But despite Kieran’s protests, she carried on inviting Tom to hang out at their house, then dropped the bombshell she’d invited him to Miami. Kieran’s fuming, but he knows Katie will do what she wants.
“Katie’s pals keep telling her that she’s putting her marriage at risk, but she doesn’t believe Kieran will leave her.”
FURTHER STRAIN
As Closer previously reported, mum-of-five Jordan was keen to team up with Kieran and become the “ultimate celebrity power couple” when she posted a video of him singing last month, with the caption: “I can feel a duet coming on.”
The pair’s four-year marriage has been notoriously rocky, and pals say Kieran – who was due to do a tell-all interview on Loose Women about cheating on Jordan – is hoping his wife’s new friendship will fizzle out soon before it puts any further strain on their relationship.
A source says: “Kieran feels Katie is using her friendship with Tom as a kind of payback and he’s warned her he’s fed up with looking like an idiot.”
