Vogue: “I was aware of Spencer’s reputation”
Vogue Williams says she isn’t put off by boyfriend Spencer Matthews’ playboy past
It was impossible to escape I the fanfare surrounding Pippa Middleton’s lavish £1m wedding to billionaire James Matthews last week. And while Prince George and Princess Charlotte stole the limelight, it was the groom’s brother – Made In Chelsea Lothario Spencer Matthews – who made headlines of his own.

Spencer, 27, was dubbed “the hot younger brother” by the American press, and reports surfaced suggesting his model girlfriend Vogue Williams, 31, wasn’t invited to the nuptials in case she upstaged the bride. On the day of the wedding, Vogue posted a social media picture at a fitness event in Dublin.
Speaking to Closer, Vogue insists she isn’t fazed by Spencer’s dubious track record with women. He earned a reputation as MIC’S love-rat after cheating on co-stars Louise Thompson, Lucy Watson and Stephanie Pratt.
She says: “I like the English charm! Spencer is great fun and a lovely guy – I really enjoy hanging out with him. He has got a way about him. I didn’t watch Spencer in MIC, but I was aware of his reputation. Most boys are like that when they’re young, though.”
The pair initially denied their romance after meeting on TV show The Jump at the start of the year, but they later admitted they were an item and Spencer gushed on Instagram that he’s “dating a younger, better-looking Cindy Crawford.”
Vogue – who didn’t want to talk about the Middleton wedding – adds: “It was inevitable I was going to get linked to Spencer when we were filming The Jump as he was the only single guy on the show. I knew it was going to happen before I even got out to Austria for the show. I wasn’t seeing anyone before as I didn’t want to embark on anything serious before starting the series. He was like my best friend.”

Model Vogue was married to Westlife singer Brian Mcfadden for three years, and was last year linked to actor Laurence Fox after they met on Bear Grylls: Mission Survive. And Vogue believes Brian – who has two daughters from his marriage to Kerry Katona – has matured.
She says: “Brian got a load of press attention when he was younger and it didn’t reflect who he was. I’m friendly with him. He’s moving on with his life and I feel happy for him – he’s in a good place, and I am. That’s all that matters.
“Last year was tough, but I’m not upset about the break-up any more – I’m in a different place. I’ve learned to look after myself emotionally and physically. I do have a maternal instinct and it [being a mum] will happen when it happens.”
