Chloe Khan: “I thought I would die from my botched nose job!”

The millionaire model exclusively tells Closer about her horrifying plastic surgery ordeal

She’s had a drastic transformation since she first hit our screens on The X Factor in 2010. But while surgery-lover Chloe Khan has undergone three boob jobs, lip fillers and a Brazilian butt lift – a recent nose job left her fearing for her life.

The 27-year-old model, who became a millionaire after setting up a web-cam business, had her first nose job in 2014, but admits that she was never fully happy with the results. So when a plastic surgeon’s Instagram page caught her eye last year, she booked herself in at his Ukraine surgery in January this year.

“I just really wanted a cute, dolly nose,” she explains. “When I saw his Instagram posts, the noses were exactly what I wanted. But looking back, I wish I’d never fallen for it.

“My boyfriend at the time [Ex On The Beach star Ashley Cain] really didn’t want me to go through with it – he told me that it looked dodgy. We broke up over it when I decided to go anyway.”

Excited for her brand-new nose, the ex-playboy model jetted off to Ukraine for the procedure – but alarm bells started ringing from the getgo. She says: “I arrived and the place wasn’t a real hospital – it was a house. It looked dodgy, but because he had a big social media following I decided to go ahead with it.”

GOING THROUGH HELL

Horrifically for Chloe, though, she began living out a nightmare when she woke up during the operation while under general anesthetic.

She explains: “Just before it kicked in, I saw the doctor put a blanket on me which was dirty and had dried blood on it. I tried to say something but couldn’t speak because I was going under. Then, halfway through the operation, I became conscious and

felt something hot

pour over my face.

I realised it was blood

and tried to scream,

but I couldn’t move. “I wasn’t in pain, but I did think I was going to die. When it was over, I was quickly ushered out of the room and given no follow-up medication. The surgeon had

been scrimping on anaesthetic to save money, which was why I woke up mid-op, and I had to stay in the house for five days until I had recovered. It was the most horrible experience I’ve ever had.”

But the trauma wasn’t over for Chloe – who’s mum to 10-year-old Destiny. When she returned to the UK a week after the surgery, she was struck with a horrendous infection.

She says: “About a day after I got back from Ukraine, I remember collapsing on my kitchen floor and lying there for two days. I just couldn’t move – I felt so ill and I wrote a goodbye note on my phone to my daughter. I rang the doctors and they took me to hospital, where they flushed me with antibiotics.”

However, Chloe became increasingly alarmed at the state of her swollen nose – which showed no signs of going down.

She explains: “I gradually felt better in my body, but when I first saw my nose without bandages I started screaming. It was huge and looked like it had snapped halfway down. It was like he’d got a hammer and smashed it up. When I called him back and told him he’d botched the op, he told me it was my fault because I kept crying while my nose was

taped up. Now I have to tape up my nose for 20 hours a day. When I take off the tape it falls to bits. I have no sense of smell and no feeling in my nose – it drips all day and sometimes I wake up with it gushing blood.”

Now the former surgery addict – who’s spoken in the past about her plans for a designer vagina – says she’ll never have work done on her face again.

CHANGING HER FOCUS

“I have to go back to the surgeon in January to get my nose fixed, which will hopefully prevent any lasting damage,” she says. “I’ll have to wait a year, but I have to get it fixed because I can’t breathe properly. However, the experience was enough to put me off facial surgery for life. If I could go back to the nose I was born with I would.”

As well as her appearance, Chloe has also transformed her life since rising to fame. Having grown up in a council house, the star set up her own webcam business and works as a model to fund her lavish lifestyle. But after her brush with death, she now vows to change her focus in life, and is determined that Destiny – from her relationship with ex Ian Hough – won’t go down the same route.

“My daughter won’t be having any surgery,” insists Chloe. “She’s perfect just as she is.

“Nobody cares what you look like – your biggest critic is yourself. But it’s what’s on the inside that matters.”
