‘Kylie inspired my lip fillers – she’s created the trend’

-

She was a much-loved S contestant on this year’s Love Island and gained attention over her dramatically plumped up lips. Now Chloe Crowhurst, 22, tells Closer it was Kylie Jenner who inspired her to get them done. She says: “Kylie coming out and admitting that she’d had lip fillers has definitely driven the trend. I didn’t really think about getting them done until she said she’d had them – she inspired me.” Chloe wasn’t the only contestant on the hit ITV2 reality show to have had surgery. Many of the female islanders, including Olivia Attwood, Camilla Thurlow and Chyna Ellis, admitted to having surgery – most commonly lip fillers or boob jobs. And Chloe – who’s confessed to having a nose job as well as fillers – says cosmetic procedures have now become the norm. She says: “On Love Island, almost everyone had at least something done and I’d say lip fillers were the most common. Of course we all wanted to look good because we were on TV – being in the spotlight means you’re definitely under pressure to look as good as possible.”

While she failed to find love or reach the final of the show, Chloe has garnered fame and lots of fans since leaving the villa. But not all of the attention has been positive – Chloe has been criticised on social media over her appearance, with trolls cruelly dubbing her “duck lips,” “Botox face” and “puffa face.”

While Chloe insists she’s only had her nose and lips done, she admits she’s trying to ignore the haters and would even consider more surgery in the future.

She says: “Some of the comments I get on social media can be really nasty – people say I’ve had Botox and facelifts when I really haven’t!

“Although I know the best thing to do is ignore the trolls and that their opinions don’t matter, I try to make sure I look good in my Instagram posts. I don’t want anything else done to my face at the moment, but I definitely wouldn’t rule it out later on.”
