‘I won’t turn down work over a silly spat with Danny’

t was claimed Mark I Wright snubbed V Festival earlier this month to avoid another showdown with Danny Dyer – following the reported fight that erupted between Mark’s friends and the actor at last year’s event, which left Danny with a black eye.

And as reports swirl that Mark’s wife and former Corrie star Michelle Keegan, 30, is in talks for a role in Eastenders to star alongside Danny, who recently renewed his contract for his role as pub landlord Mick Carter, pals say former TOWIE star Mark is feeling upset.

A source says: “Michelle loves doing big TV dramas, but she misses the familiarity of being on a soap and having something more sustainable. She loves getting her teeth into a role, which can develop over time. The Eastenders set isn’t too far from their Essex home, too, and after recently spending three months away filming Our Girl in South Africa, she wants something where she doesn’t have to travel too far.

“But Mark was a bit put out Michelle was even considering it, and said he’d find it a bit hard to swallow if she took the role working alongside Danny.”

The TV presenter and DJ, 30 has had his fair share of celeb spats in the past, with a string of his former TOWIE co-stars, including his ongoing feud with ex Lauren Goodger.

The source adds: “Michelle understands why Mark wouldn’t like her working alongside Danny after the past fallout, but she insisted her agent set it up and told him she won’t turn down potentially great roles because of a silly spat.”
