Insiders say Lauren Goodger is distraught after being trolled yet again, but has vowed to shape up with boyfriend Joey’s help

She looked happy S and content as she hit V Festival in Essex with friends last weekend, dressed in a black bodysuit and hot pants.

But shortly afterwards, Lauren Goodger fell victim to cruel body shaming once again, with online trolls taunting her over her size 12 curves.

One cruel critic said: “Tree trunk alert! I can’t unsee it! Ugh, horrible!” while another added: “She’s a beast!”

Lauren took to Twitter to vent her hurt and frustration against the nasty backlash – posting an old picture of herself when she was a size 8 and controversially writing: “I would love to be underweight how I was then maybe they give me a break but they didn’t even was I was like this… what do I do guys [sic].”

A source says: “Lauren hates being bullied about her weight by people she doesn’t even know. She’s gained half a stone recently and isn’t feeling as confident in herself, so she just feels like she’s being constantly knocked when she’s already down. She’s been feeling really upset and broke down in tears. She just wants it to stop. Lauren’s saying she’ll lose the weight so she can prove everyone wrong again.”

CONSIDERING SURGERY

Lauren, 30, who’s been dating her jailbird boyfriend Joey Morrison for over a year, has endured a lengthy battle with her weight since first finding fame on TOWIE in 2010 – yo-yoing between a size 8 and a size 14.

She thought she’d finally conquered her body demons in 2015 when she embarked on a health and exercise kick for her fitness DVD, and managed to slim down to a toned size 8.

But the star – who has also put her body through She’s had fad diets including the Cambridge Soup Plan and

juicing detoxes – recently explained to Closer that boozy nights out have led to her downfall and that she’s even considering surgery now.

She said: “I’ve spoken to friends about liposuction or a gastric band. I’d do anything like that if it meant I saw results fast!”

A source says: “Lauren’s been turning to Joey on her prison visits. He’s been supportive and said she can lose the weight naturally without surgery. She wants a quick solution but she’s now considering overhauling her lifestyle in a way she can maintain. Joey said he’d help structure a fitness plan for her and mentor her.”

Now Lauren is concentrating on blocking out all the negative comments she’s receiving.

VICIOUS CIRCLE

A source says: “Lauren knows that the trolls are just sad people with nothing else to do. She’s telling herself to just start concentrating on herself. She feels like she’s trapped in a vicious circle, but she’s vowing to make some major changes in her life to break the pattern.”
