Why Jordan’s turning to toyboys to mask the pain of marriage split

Her scandal-hit H marriage to Kieran Hayler suffered yet more scrutiny last week when reports claimed Jordan is being increasingly open about her plans to officially end the relationship. And she did little to silence the speculation last week.

After returning from a family holiday to Cyprus with Kieran, 30 – who infamously cheated with her two best pals in 2014 – she posted a video on social media of her flashing her bottom before revealing: “I’ve got no wedding rings on.”

CRYPTIC TWEETS

Then, on Loose Women, Jordan – aka Katie Price – declared: “Once a cheat, always a cheat.” The blunt statement came just weeks after she Tweeted a series of posts about cheating. Just days earlier, Scotty T, who was linked to Jordan, 39, in October– although they insisted nothing happened – revealed he fancied her, and said that being married wouldn’t stop her from sleeping with him.

A source says: “No one would be surprised if Katie makes a divorce announcement because they even avoid each other when they’re in the same house. She feels trapped in a bad relationship and can’t seem to get over his past cheating

“The only things seeming to hold her back are the kids and the thought of being a single mum-of-five as she approaches 40. She insists she won’t feel sad as she did all her grieving when Kieran cheated. She can’t seem to forgive him and she wants everyone to know he was the one who ruined it all. FEELING AWKWARD

Closer recently revealed Jordan – who has Jett, three, and Bunny, two, with Kieran, plus Harvey, 15, Junior, 12, and Princess, 10, from past relationships – had been messaging Love Island hunk Chris Hughes, 24. However, humiliating reports surfaced last week that he felt awkward about her approaches. His girlfriend Olivia

Attwood spoke out last week, revealing: “I know it made Chris feel uncomfortable.”

In a separate interview, Olivia added: “She was just trying her luck, really.”

Her comments came just days after DJ Tom Zanetti, 28 – who recorded a single with Jordan – revealed he was left “gutted” after being embroiled in a sexting scandal with the star and wouldn’t be working with her any more. It was previously revealed on her reality show that she’d sent him provocative texts.

Closer’s psychologist Emma Kenny believes Jordan is turning to younger men in an attempt to hide the humiliation that another marriage has failed.

Sexually dominant

She says: “Jordan is desperate to recapture her youth by getting a younger man. She’s a successful woman, but it appears she’s now had another failed marriage, which is a massive blow to her ego. She appears to be reaching out to these popular men as she needs validation to prove she’s still a success despite how things are going with Kieran. She believes she can win them over – and what better challenge than Chris Hughes, the star of the moment?

“She enjoys attempting to be sexually dominant over them, but if it was a father-of-five in his late 30s pestering young women, it would be condemned by the public. She is also immensely hypocritical going after taken men. She has spent the last few years slandering women who go after men in relationships – and yet she is unashamedly doing the exact same thing with Chris. This is her attempt to avoid dealing with any of the pain of the end of her marriage.”

But pals say they fear Jordan is masking the fact she’s heartbroken and that secretly she’s hurt about being publicly rejected by two younger men.

The pal says: “She loves being sexual and proving that she’s still as hot as she was in her modelling days. Chris and Tom rejecting her is a bitter pill to swallow. She’s secretly humiliated and upset, but she’ll keep messaging more men to prove to herself and – everyone else – that she’s still got it.”
