Pals say Kerry Katona has started dating again after the breakdown of her marriage to George Kay

he’s rarely ever S been single, having had three failed marriages in close succession. And now pals say that Kerry Katona is making the most of her newfound freedom following her recent split from third husband George Kay – and is secretly dating someone new.

A pal says: “Kerry has a new man – he’s a Scottish businessman she met at an Atomic Kitten gig. She’s been visiting him in Scotland recently with her eldest daughter Molly, 15, which is great because they can keep their relationship more private up there. She’s playing her cards close to her chest with this guy.”

Kerry, 36 – who’s also mum to Lilly-sue, 14, Heidi, 10, Max, nine, from her previous marriages and Dylanjorge, three, with George – announced the end of her third marriage in June after two and a half years together – with her spokesperson confirming her “focus is going to be her children” going forward.

After appearing upbeat when Closer caught up with her at a recent launch party, pals say she’s been handling the break-up well – thanks, in part, to her new flame.

A source says: “Having a new man in her life has been a welcome diversion. Kerry’s been fairly laid-back about the split so far because she’s had the romance to distract her.”

Last week, Kerry appeared in a series of emotional Instagram posts as Molly moved to Ireland to carry on her studies. But pals say her new man has been there to support her.

The star’s endured a turbulent love life since rising to fame. She married Westlife’s Brian Mcfadden, 37, in 2002, only to split two years later. She then got engaged to cab driver Mark Croft, 46, after just five weeks of dating. The pair wed in 2007 but things quickly turned sour and she called it quits in 2010. She later tied the knot with George, 36, but their union lasted just nine months – and during a brief split with the ex-con last year, Kerry was snapped kissing convicted murderer Kevin Lane. Now sources say, despite it being early days, Kentbased Kerry is optimistic about her latest romance. The source says: “It’s going to be tricky managing a relationship with someone so far away – but her new man doesn’t have kids, is a bit older and is a successful businessman, so isn’t interested in her money. She’s saying she thinks things could work between them.”
