ZOE TURNS TO NORMAN AGAIN

Zoe Ball has been leaning on her estranged husband Norman Cook following the death of her boyfriend, Billy Yates, three months ago. And pals say they’ve grown closer and that he’s been an incredible support.

Itnhsaidters tell Closer the pair, who split last September after 18 years of marriage, making the shock announcement that they had “come to the end of our rainbow,” have been talking regularly.

A source says: “Zoe’s confessed to pals that Norman has really helped her through this hard time, and has been checking in with her. She says he’s been her rock since Billy died.”

The pair had a notoriously roller-coaster marriage – both battling alcohol problems – and endured a brief split in 2003 when Zoe confessed to an affair with DJ Dan Peppe.

Zoe, 46 – who shares Woody, 16, and Nelly, seven, with the 54-year-old DJ (aka Fatboy Slim) – was left devastated at the sudden death of her “sweet love” Billy, 40, who was found hanged at his London home in May. She met the cameraman through friends and they were first spotted together in January.

Now pals say Zoe is relieved she’s still on good terms with Norman – who she reunited with last month when they accompanied Woody to collect his GCSE results. As their son emerged with his grades, the radio presenter admitted: “I’m so proud of him. Norman and I had a little cry in the car waiting for him to come out.”

It was later reported that the pair were spotted enjoying dinner with a small group of friends.
