After claiming husband Kieran Hayler had cheated again, pals reveal why they think Jordan is using her sex scandal to shock
As Jordan announced her latest marriage split last week following several cryptic Tweets about cheating, fans were divided over mounting speculation that the explosive break-up could be an elaborate publicity stunt.
The mum-of-five claimed in a tell-all interview that she sobbed and screamed “like a lunatic” last week after discovering – through an intimate email exchange – that her toyboy husband Kieran Hayler had enjoyed a year-long affair with the family nanny Nikki Brown, 40. But Nikki was quick to deny the affair and hit back saying it was “all lies” and that Jordan in fact owed her “thousands and thousands of pounds.” And as Closer went to press, sources claimed Kieran, 30 – who originally cheated on Jordan, 39, in 2014 with her best friends Jane Pountney and Chrissy Thomas – was due to give his own interview, admitting that he was still living in the family home and that his famous wife was planning to forgive him because he couldn’t help his “sex addiction” relapse.
TWISTED ROMANCE
A source says: “Jordan’s inner circle think the situation is so twisted. She’s never really recovered from Kieran’s past affairs, and she thinks he’s definitely cheated again. Jordan’s never been able to trust him – although she’s heartbroken, she knows Kieran’s a sex addict so it hasn’t surprised her like last time.
“She was waiting to find something she could pin on Kieran to show he was cheating again. She wants to end the marriage now, but it’ll be under her terms and, although she’s heartbroken that Kieran has hurt her again, she can’t help but secretly enjoy all the high-octane drama that’s surrounding her now. Everyone knows she thrives on publicity.
“Kieran’s still living at the family farm and there’s been
a frosty atmosphere between them for weeks. She’s waiting for the right time to get divorced, but for now friends think she doesn’t mind playing out the scandal to get back in the headlines. She wants as much attention as possible before she embarks on her upcoming speaking tour later this month.”
Jordan’s ex Alex Reid, 42, was one of the first people to cast doubt on her latest marriage crisis, amid reports of poor ticket sales for her upcoming eight-date tour, where she plans to discuss more details of her private life.
Good timing
He blasted her: “It’s extremely convenient timing, one million per cent. There’s no coincidence here… Having been in a similar situation, and understanding how difficult it must be for Kieran, I feel sorry for him. He’s clearly signed a non-disclosure agreement and anything he does say is being controlled by her.
“I also feel sorry for the nanny accused. There’s no factual evidence to prove what’s happened. In fact, the nanny denied everything, also claiming that Katie owes her money. Knowing Katie, it all seems very convenient. I smell a rat.”
And Jordan – who has Jett, four, and Bunny, three, with Kieran – was forced to deny she was still with him after he posted a video claiming he was watching a boxing match with his “wifey” shortly after she announced he’d cheated.
She Tweeted: “My heart is broken. Kieran’s video is fake to make it look like I’m not serious! My story in @Thesunday_sun is totally TRUE…IT’S over.”

Some people were quick to question whether Jordan, who was seen laughing and dancing on a night out with fans, without her wedding ring, just two days after announcing the bombshell, had genuinely split from Kieran.
One commented: “The publicity has gone through the roof just in time for her tour.” Meanwhile another added: “She wants to look the victim as more money will keep flowing. She needs a hard look at herself because this is disgusting!”
A source says: “Despite the emotion of her marriage breaking down, Katie is riding on the publicity of the latest split rumours and cashing in too. She’s told Kieran that eventually he’ll need to move out, but she’s not ready yet because of the kids. She doesn’t want to be in the marriage but she won’t risk upsetting them or put them through any more turmoil.
“When she’s properly ready to end her marriage, she won’t waste time lining up husband number four and says she’s already got a few irons in the fire – all high-profile stars. She’s sad it hasn’t worked out with Kieran, but is excited about the next chapter in her life and creating more controversy for her fans.”
