‘SHE JUST WANTS ALL THE ATTENTION SHE CAN GET’

EMMA SAYS: There are three people in Jordan’s relationships: herself, her partner and the public. She seems more interested in communicating with the outside world about her relationships than actually working at them. She can’t seem to separate truth from fiction.

“In the past, she has been cheated on, abused and rejected and has built up this alter ego ‘Jordan’ to protect herself and entertain the public. At the moment, she’s experiencing a time of instability. She is getting older and her looks – something that she has built her career upon – are at risk of fading, so creating these headlines and scandals keep her popular and in the spotlight. She isn’t sure of her role – is she a sex symbol or a devoted mother? So she just wants all the attention she can get.

“She partly blamed this recent scandal on Kieran’s problems with sex addiction, despite saying he’d fully recovered earlier this year. It’s usual for addicts to have relapses, especially if they’re lacking the right support. When recovering from sex addiction, sufferers must abstain from sex. Sex is a rewarding cycle and makes people feel good, so if Kieran had been celibate, but wasn’t getting his ‘rewards’ in other ways – for example, love and affection – it’s likely he would relapse. If Jordan has been constantly chastising and punishing him, he will only feel worse about himself.

“Watching Kieran speak out about his sex addiction previously, I don’t believe he looked genuinely ashamed. So I hope this time he gets the help he needs and fully recovers.”
