Radio presenter Matt Edmondson, 31, talks us through the key moments in his life

MADE A BIG LIFE CHANGE

My sister Katie is a vlogger and she’s really big on eco stuff and the environment. She lives a zerowaste lifestyle and produces as little rubbish as possible. She’s a good influence and I’ve started doing my bit. I used to always buy plastic water bottles when I was on the go but I now carry my own bottle.

LIED

I often interview actors and, beforehand, I’m expected to watch the film they’re promoting. But recently, I really didn’t fancy watching this one film and snuck out 20 minutes into the screening. Unfortunately, I was caught, so I came up with a lie on the spot and told them my wife [personal trainer Bryony] was locked out of our house and I had the only spare key.

HURT SOMEONE’S FEELINGS

Oh God, I don’t even know. I’m a nice person! Oh wait – a couple of years ago, I was in a bit of a grump and I said a rude thing about a Jason Derulo song on the radio. He heard and contacted me to say I’d been unpleasant.

LOST MY TEMPER

Recently, I lost it over a cheese grater. I’ve got a very small dishwasher and I couldn’t fit it in. I decided to hand- wash it – but how do you wash a grater? I cut myself and destroyed a perfectly good sponge in the process. Livid. ● Matt voices new dating show Dress To Impress, weekdays on ITV2
