Can Coleen recover from Wayne’s latest scandal?

Facing reports her marriage was on the brink of collapse, pregnant Coleen Rooney fled to her parents’ home with her three sons last week following husband Wayne’s arrest for drink-driving behind the wheel of another woman’s car, who he allegedly kissed and cuddled.
And as the single mum at the centre of the scandal – Laura Simpson, 29 – urged fuming Coleen, 31, to forgive the footballer, saying: “Don’t be mad at him, it wasn’t that bad,” pals say their relationship is at breaking point and Coleen isn’t sure how she’ll forgive the Everton striker this time around after a string of damaging claims made against Wayne by other women during their nine-year marriage.
A source tells Closer: “Coleen felt broken when she first saw Wayne after jetting in from her holiday in Majorca and couldn’t even bear to look at him as she was so angry about all the claims.
“She feels humiliated and betrayed and isn’t sure how she’ll forgive him. She says she needs time and space to think clearly.”
It’s not the first time the couple have been rocked by a cheating scandal.
Coleen – who met Wayne at school when they were just 12 – stood by him in 2004 when it was revealed he had slept with a string of prostitutes, including a 48-year-old grandmother in the early days of their relationship.
In her autobiography, she revealed the reason she’d forgiven him was because it happened before their relationship became serious.
But the WAG was left heartbroken yet again when it was claimed Wayne had spent family money on secret hotel sessions with prostitute and Ex On The Beach star Jenny Thompson, when Coleen was pregnant with their eldest son, Kai, in 2009.

She moved into her parents’ house and the pair made up after more apologies from Wayne, before further reports emerged claiming he’d enjoyed a threesome with Jenny and another prostitute, Helen Wood – who went on to star in Big Brother in 2014.
The source says: “Coleen can’t believe she’s left facing yet more heartache. It’s a nightmare for her. Everyone’s worried about the stress this is putting her under. Coleen’s family are fuming with Wayne – her dad’s even refusing to speak to him for fear of what he’ll do or say.”
Shortly after Wayne’s release from police cells, reports emerged that livid Coleen phoned party girl Laura and demanded an explanation.
Laura, who said she apologised to Coleen and insisted nothing happened between her and Wayne, also revealed: “She asked me to tell her what happened. She seemed unhappy with the fact we had left a nightclub in a cab together.”
