It’s PC Joe’s wedding to the Doc’s nanny, Janice – following a six-week romance after they met in the chip shop. Al is struggling with his best man duties, while the guests are wondering why the only drink on offer is whisky (eyes on Bert for that). Unfortunately, the congregation drop like fleas when a mystery illness goes around, and the Doc is very cross. On the plus side, he does have a very cute son (and he reckons baby James must be “fond” of Louisa – yes, the tot’s mum!) Ho ho.
