After years of keeping their relationship under wraps, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx finally went public earlier this month, as her rumoured dating ban from ex-husband Tom Cruise expired. Now, pals say the actress and actor Jamie Foxx are wasting no time in tying the knot.
A source says: “Katie’s kept things with Jamie a secret for so long and now she’s loving it all being out in the open. She can’t wait to settle down again.
“They’re very happy and have been keen to tell the world since Jamie proposed last December on Katie’s 38th birthday.

“Jamie took her to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico and rented out a beach house for the week. He took her on a boat ride out to a private island and had a mariachi band serenade her at sunset. It was so romantic.” The star – who shares daughter Suri, 11, with Tom, 55 – was pictured strolling along a Malibu beach hand-inhand with the dad-of-two, 49, looking relaxed and happy. And friends say they’re planning a lavish £4million wedding in December, which they’re dubbing “Foxxchella.”
Our source says: “The wedding will take place on the one-year anniversary of their engagement and it will be a week-long celebration with performances from Madonna, Beyoncé, Jay Z and Stevie Wonder, a fireworks display and food cooked by chefs from all over the world.
PRIVATE ISLAND
“They’re renting a £16,000a-night private island near Fiji called Turtle Island for the bash, which will also be attended by the likes of Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Halle Berry and Naomi Watts.
“It’s already being dubbed the wedding of the decade.”
The actress dated her Dawson’s Creek co-star Joshua Jackson, followed by a five-year relationship with American Pie actor Chris Klein before getting engaged to Tom in 2005.
And after the alleged issues following her split with Tom, we’re told Katie is ensuring she’ll protect herself this time around.
The source adds: “Katie doesn’t want to make the same mistakes she did with Tom, so she and Jamie have agreed it’s best to draw-up a pre-nup.
“They’re besotted with each other and don’t want to think about splitting, but they’re also realists, so they just want to make sure they’re both protected.”
