‘I want Girls Aloud to reunite!’

NADINE:

She’s been gearing up to relaunch her singing career and released her comeback single last month.

And now Nadine Coyle, 32, admits that she’d love to make music with close friend and former Girls Aloud band member Sarah Harding – and adds that she thoroughly approves of her pal’s romance with CBB star Chad Johnson.

Speaking at the Specsavers Spectacle Wearer Of The Year Awards, Nadine tells Closer, “I’d love to duet with Sarah. We sang together for years in the band, so why not? If we’re allowed to, I’d love to.

“I’ve not seen her since CBB, but I will be seeing her soon. I think Chad’s a good egg – a very good-looking egg, too! Sarah always likes a nice goodlooking guy so I think they may be a great match.”

While Nadine remains close with Sarah, 35, she and the other Girls Aloud members – including Cheryl, 33, Kimberley Walsh, 35, and Nicola Roberts, 32 – have been embroiled in a feud since the band split in 2013.

And when Nadine performed her new song Go To Work live on ITV’S Lorraine last week, she insisted that her impressive vocals were live and she wasn’t miming – something that Cheryl was heavily criticised for when promoting her own solo material in 2009 and again in both 2012 and 2014.

“It was so funny that people on This Morning thought I must have been miming – I was definitely singing live!” says Nadine. “Lorraine was like, ‘This is what real singing sounds like, people just aren’t used to people singing live any more!’

But despite the former band members’ spat, Nadine – who is mum to three-year-old Anaíya with former American footballer Jason Bell – admits she’d be up for reuniting with Girls Aloud.

She says, “I’d love a reunion, I really would – whether it’s in two years or 20 years!”
