FORGOT MY SENSE OF STYLE…

When I was a teenager, I used to wear black nail varnish and eyeliner. Looking back now I think I looked like a tiny Marilyn Manson; a little emo who didn’t really have anything to be emotional about because I grew up on a farm and it was perfectly lovely. But at the time I thought I was pretty cool.

LIED…

That was at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards last month. I kept saying: “I’m having a really fun time!” when I was actually terrified to be in a room with people like football legend Pelé and actor Jared Leto.

LOST MY TEMPER…

A little while ago I was driving back from Cardiff late at night and I took a wrong turn, so I hit the steering wheel and screamed. I was so surprised I felt anger that it made me laugh. I’m a frustratingly placid person.

WORE AN OUTFIT I LOVED…

I bought a Sandro suit and a pair of shoes to wear to the GQ Awards, and I felt really posh. Usually, suits aren’t my vibe as I’ve got the mentality of a seven-year-old at a wedding who’s forced to wear proper shoes and then cries. But I treated myself to a new pair and I felt like a princess!

HURT SOMEONE’S FEELINGS…

That was probably during my last break-up about three years ago. I’ve never been broken up with; I’m one of those people who does it before they get a chance to break up with me. My current girlfriend, Hannah [Cooper, a 25-year-old model] has never been broken up with either. We’ve both got a clean sheet, so if we were going to do it we’d have to do it at exactly the same time.or we’ll have to stay together forever – that’s hopefully the option we’ll go for!
