Last year’s pilot was an absolute corker, and now the comedy returns as a full series, once again starring Anna Maxwell Martin as stressed-out, very much non-“alpha” mum Julia. Written by the ace Sharon Horgan and Father Ted’s Graham Linehan, capers last time involved the heroine of the piece forgetting it was half term, and trying to get through a play-date with a perfect mum. This should be fab.
