GOD SAVE THE QUEEN (VIC)
Mick and Linda have an M announcement to make. Nothing to do with Mick’s pink dressing gown, but more in the shape of how they could be about to serve their last Babycham… Due to the ongoing (endless) hoo-hah mostly to do with the Queen Vic’s leaky ceiling earlier in the year – and the dough needing to be thrown at it – the pair are skint and might have to call it a day. Mick makes Fi tell everyone it’s game over, and there’s an outcry. Not to worry, because the spirit of the Blitz kicks in, paving the way for some lovely heart-warming scenes between now and Yule where the locals pull together to save the pub so they can all enjoy their pork scratchings in peace. Away from the ale house, Phil finds out Ben’s new squeeze Luke is Willmott-brown Junior. Kathy is appalled, but begs Phil not to tell Ben about the rape. Instead, she tells him herself – and Ben doesn’t handle the news very well (shock). There’s also a bombshell in store for Sonia when Gorgeous Gethin has no choice but to confess about kissing Bex that time. Everyone is horrified and Son is gutted. Bex and Louise have a girlie chat about it all, which ends up with something surprising happening to do with Shakil. Over in Camp Stacey, baby Hope is about to come home…
