● Al­ways trim the wick to 3mm be­fore light­ing – this will stop can­dles smok­ing and help them burn more evenly.

● Rub your finger on the wax to re­lease the fra­grance while test­ing out scents.

● If you see sur­face droplets on a can­dle, it’s a sign it’s poorly made – it means the fra­grance and wax aren’t com­pat­i­ble.

● Keep your can­dles clean – dust will cause the flame to flicker, which black­ens the glass.

● Flip dif­fuser reeds when you’ve used half the bot­tle.
