● Ex­er­cise with a friend: “I’m lucky to be able to work with a per­sonal trainer – it’s some­thing I treat my­self to, as it forces me to stick to my ex­er­cise sched­ule. Make plans to ex­er­cise with friends – you’ll en­cour­age each other to work out.” ● Have a plan: “If you’re short on time, have a plan al­ready in place of what you’re go­ing to do. Then you can crack on, work hard, and get it done within half an hour.” ● Re­duce temp­ta­tion: “I have a freezer full of healthy meals that I can take out to de­frost, so I know I’ll al­ways have some­thing nu­tri­tious in the house and won’t be tempted to snack.” ● Go for a walk: “I al­ways make sure I get out of the house for some fresh air and a walk. I’ll put Ron­nie in the pram, and we’ll ei­ther go in the af­ter­noon, or with the boys when they come back from school. It’s a mas­sive mood-booster.”
