Vicky’s vow:
“I’ll be a size 8 bride”
Her weight has H fluctuated over the years, but new bikini pictures show Vicky Pattison has got her diet demons under control.
While the star looked curvier at a size 12-14 in September, three months on, Vicky has managed to slim down to a size 10.
And friends say it’s her wedding to fiancé John Noble next summer that is keeping her on the right track.
MAKING CHANGES
A pal reveals, “Vicky’s determined to be a sexy size 8 bride by the time she walks down the aisle in July. After her engagement party in October, she wanted to start working that bit harder in the gym. She’s been doing spin classes and weights and has also been keeping an eye on her diet, swapping calorific wine for gin and tonics.”
Vicky, 30, started dating John in November 2016, although they’d previously had a brief relationship in their early 20s. He popped the question in July and, earlier this month, they moved back to Newcastle together.
But Vicky – who lost 3st for a fitness DVD and went from a size 16 to a 6 in 2013 – has found that being loved up has had an impact on her waistline.
The source says, “Vicky has definitely noticed the pounds creep back on since she’s been with John. She’s swapped nights out on the dance floor for cosy evenings in with a movie and pizza. But now she’s really cut back on snacking.”
MOTIVATION
While Vicky’s weight has yo-yoed since her initial slim down in 2013, she’s always managed to get back on track.
After showing off her toned figure on I’m A Celeb! in 2015, Vicky put on a stone in 2016.
However, she ditched the bad habits and was back into her size 8 clothes by February this year.
The insider adds, “Setting goals definitely keeps Vicky motivated when it comes to losing weight. John is always telling her that he loves her at any size, but she really wants to feel at her best on her big day.”
Vicky – who was engaged to her former Geordie Shore co-star Ricci Guarnaccio, before they ended things in 2013 – has opened up about her wedding dreams in the past.
The star previously told Closer, “I’m going the full nine yards. I want butterflies and a light-up dress! It’s going to be huge… We’re not the type of people who do things by halves.”
Our insider adds, “She’s so in love and there’s no doubt she’ll look amazing at the wedding. It will be the best day of her life.”
