Helen’s joy:

“We’re having another baby”

hey’re already T proud parents to two-year-old Matilda, and now Helen Flanagan and footballer Scott Sinclair have announced that they are expecting their second child.

But Corrie star Helen, 27, admitted the pair hadn’t been planning another pregnancy, and she couldn’t believe the news at first. She said, “I did three more tests just to make sure it was correct!”

While the actress and her boyfriend of eight years are thrilled, it hasn’t been an easy pregnancy for the star, who has suffered with the same extreme morning sickness that Kate Middleton had. She revealed, “I have just been really poorly. I couldn’t go into work and do any filming. I had hyperemesis gravidarum – it lasted for five weeks.”

“I ended up having to go to hospital here in Glasgow [where Scott plays for Celtic Football Club]. I was there for a good few hours and they put me on a drip.”

She adds that doctors were also concerned she may be having an ectopic pregnancy, but that it thankfully turned out to be a water infection. Helen and Scott, 28, have had their ups and downs over the years, with the pair briefly splitting after the sportsman was accused of sending flirty texts to another woman.

And, in February, Helen revealed she was living in Manchester with her parents and Matilda to film Corrie, only going home to Scott in Glasgow at the weekends.

But with another baby on the way, the pair are looking forward to their future. Helen adds, “We both would love to get married and for us all to have same name.”
