JEREMY IN PAIN AFTER ‘VANITY’ OP
Reports suggested he needed emergency surgery on his septum as the result of cocaine abuse, but friends of Jeremy Mcconnell say his recent nose job was part of a “vanity project”.
The Irish model was spotted with black eyes and bandages covering his nose last week, after jetting off to Poland for the operation. Jeremy, 27, appeared in pain as he was later snapped struggling to eat a brownie at a coffee shop. While reports compared the star – who has spoken openly about his cocaine use in the past – to Danniella Westbrook, who had to have her septum reconstructed after years of drug abuse, pals deny the allegation.
A source says, “Jeremy previously had his nose broken and hated the way it looked, so he wanted to get it fixed. He underwent the op after getting his [probation service] tag removed.”
Jeremy was released from jail last December after serving 34 days, following the breach of a community service order he was given for a cocaine-fuelled attack on his ex Stephanie Davis, 24 – with whom he shares 13-month-old son Caben.
Stephanie was also granted a threeyear restraining order against Jeremy, but reports say he could be sent back to prison after being accused of contacting his ex through fake social media accounts.
However, Jeremy now says he hopes to come to an arrangement with Stephanie’s legal team to arrange plans for him to see his son. He explains, “I want to play football with him and be there for him.”
