The celeb nose jobs from hell
She’s never been afraid to show off the dramatic results of her cosmetic surgery, undergoing a Brazilian butt lift, three boob jobs and lip fillers since appearing on The X Factor in 2010. But Chloe Khan’s latest Instagram pic is, by her own admission, “not a glamorous post” as she details the reconstructive surgery required after a nose job went horribly wrong last year. In the snap, she appears to be under anesthetic as a finger squashes her nose to show the lack of cartilage.
Chloe, 26, had her first bout of rhinoplasty in 2014, but felt the Harley Street surgeon hadn’t made her nose small enough. After finding a doctor in Ukraine via Instagram, the star travelled there to have a second op last January – but with horrific consequences. She says, “My nose was destroyed – I had no bones in my nose!”
In October, Chloe had corrective surgery in London. She adds, “I didn’t need a cosmetic surgery, I needed to have a full reconstruction with eight grafts from my ear cartilage.”
The mum of one previously told Closer that she woke up while under general anesthetic during her surgery and, upon returning to the UK, suffered an infection so severe she feared she would die. Chloe now urges others to be careful when choosing a clinic.
Surgeon Mark Ho-asjoe warns that anyone considering rhinoplasty should be cautious of going too small. He says, “That ski slope look, where the bridge of the nose slopes down, has become far less common because it’s easy to remove too much cartilage – as in Chloe’s case.”
