FERNE HITS OUT OVER SAM FEUD
They were BFFS T on TOWIE, but last week reports emerged of a dramatic falling out between Ferne Mccann and Sam Faiers.
An insider claimed the pair – who have unfollowed each other on Instagram – were “no longer friends” due to Ferne’s alleged continued relationship with ex Arthur Collins, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for an acid attack.
While new-mum Ferne – who has three-month-old daughter Sunday – didn’t deny reports of a feud, she rebuffed claims she is still dating convict Arthur, posting: “For the record (again) I am not in a relationship with Arthur. I do not know how much clearer I could be about that! Sam and I never fell out about Arthur! This is false.
“Arthur is Sunday’s father. I have had to communicate with him and his family with respect to Sunday (mainly through lawyers). Today’s ‘sources’ are wrong. Much love Ferne.”
Sam, 27 – who is mum to Paul Tony, two, and three-month-old Rosie – has been friends with Ferne since childhood and both starred in TOWIE together.
Rumours first circulated about the fallout in May last year, after a lack of social media interaction or photos of the then-pregnant pals together. Cracks in their friendship also appeared when sources claimed Sam wasn’t happy about Ferne’s new reality show First Time Mum – following the success of her own parenting show The Mummy Diaries.
Speculation of a feud mounted when Sam announced her baby daughter’s name just an hour before First Time Mum was about to air – prompting fans to wonder if Sam was trying to steal Ferne’s spotlight.
