TEARS FOR KAT SLATER

-

Stunned by the news that Kat S Slater is dead, a distraught Stacey weeps on Big Mo, then spends much of the week trying to raise the cash she needs to give her cuzza the fitting send-off she deserves. Ian’s not one for digging deep, but he does agree to help with the catering (chips all round then). The Carters are generous to a fault, offering to hold the wake for free, but soon Stacey realises Mo is acting a bit strange; her reaction to the coffin Jay manages to blag for free is unusual, and then there’s an issue with the obituary in the Gazette. A further shock is in store for Stacey when Jean shows up – bringing with her something of a bombshell that might just put a cat among those East End pigeons. And while our attention is distracted by A) Something that happens when Martin comforts Stacey (top secret, soz), B) Young’uns Hunter and Louise getting it on at the Kat fundraising bash, and C) A baby being handed over to Mariam and Arshad for looking after, our mouths will mostly be hanging open more towards the end of the week when Kat – that’s the supposed recently deceased Kat Slater – returns to Albert Square, alive and very much kicking…
