GLAM GRAN: ‘People think I’m YOUNGER than my teen daughter!’
She’s been told she looks 16 and has to show ID to buy booze, but Carrie Hilton is in fact a grandmother
Posing for P the camera in nothing but a lacy bralet and knickers, it’s hard to believe that part-time model Carrie Hilton is a grandma.
In fact, the 36 year old looks so youthful, she says she’s even been mistaken for a teenager. Carrie, from Bolton, hit the headlines after her daughter, Clarice, 18, gave birth to Jessica, now sevenmonths-old, making Carrie Britain’s most glam gran.
Since then, she’s gained almost 10,000 followers on social media – and has even had to turn down offers of sex and marriage from fans.
PROPOSITIONS
She explains, “I never expected so much attention. I often get propositioned by young guys on Facebook, and sugar daddies offer to send me designer shoes and handbags. One man even thought I was 16 – younger than my daughter!
“I find it hilarious and so does she. Although I think she gets a bit embarrassed when her male friends tell her that they fancy me! I’m always joking with her, saying that I could get a boyfriend her age, or even younger. People expect grandmas to be stuck at home, wearing their slippers. I like that I’m challenging that stereotype. I’ve got so much energy, I love being a young gran.”
Carrie fell pregnant with Clarice when she was just 17, while with her childhood boyfriend. She is also mum to Casey, now five, from another relationship. She says her age-defying appearance is down to regularly hitting the gym – as well as £20,000 spent on cosmetic procedures.
She explains, “I’m not against a little help here and there. Over the years, I’ve had a boob job, going from a 34A to a 34DD, veneers, hair extensions and Botox.
GOOD GENETICS
“But a lot of the way I look is thanks to good genetics. I’ve never used any expensive face creams or moisturisers – I just get what’s on offer.
“My mum Jo is 56, and she looks incredible, too. I also exercise regularly. I used to kick-box competitively and now I have a gym at home. When Clarice is ready, I’m going to help her get rid of her baby weight. She’s not embarrassed by seeing my racy snaps online, she says I’m her inspiration. I’m encouraging her to take some sexy pictures too, to boost her confidence.”
But Carrie says there are downsides to looking so young. “Trying to buy a bottle of wine without ID is a nightmare. Last time I got asked to prove my age, I was with Jessica. When I told the sales assistant she was my granddaughter, she didn’t believe me. It was hilarious – and a confidence boost!”
She adds, “I’ll do whatever it takes to keep looking this young – I hope my kids follow in my footsteps.”
