Posh’s anger as David parties with a string of women
After David is pictured with other women and plans to meet up with her BFF Eva Longoria without her, Posh is left hurt
e’s been H a heartthrob for more than two decades – but insiders say David Beckham’s sex symbol status has again upset Posh, his wife of 18 years, after he was pictured with young models in South Africa last week.
David flew to Johannesburg to throw a party promoting his Haig Club Clubman Whisky, and rubbed shoulders with local celebrities and DJS.
MAKING A FUSS
A source reveals, “Victoria understands that women will always flock to David for selfies and make a fuss of him, but she finds it difficult seeing all the pictures, especially because of the speculation it causes.
“It’s particularly hard when she feels they don’t get to spend enough time together as a couple at the moment.
“She knows this is part and parcel of both of them having demanding global careers, but it’s still tough. She completely trusts David, but she hates other women hanging round him. She finds it disrespectful and it makes her angry.”
David, 42, has been jetting back and forth to the US since purchasing his soccer team in January. He moved to Miami earlier this year to launch his Major League Soccer franchise.
In a statement, he explained that Posh and their four children – Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 13 and Harper, six – would remain in the UK during term time, and would fly over to live with him during school holidays.
The source reveals Posh is missing spending time with her husband, adding, “She finds it frustrating.”
OUT PARTYING
Closer revealed last year how the fashion designer, 43, was left hurt and frustrated when the former footballer partied with model Poppy Delevingne, 31, Suki Waterhouse, 26, and Alexa Chung, 34, in LA. And he was then pictured cosying up to singer Rita Ora, 27, just a few months later.
Then, last month, reports emerged that Posh was upset after seeing snaps of David laughing with 21-year-old supermodel Bella Hadid.
And to add to her frustration, Posh was reportedly left a little hurt last week after hearing that her best friend, Eva Longoria, had planned a meet-up with David in Miami.
Insiders revealed to Closer how pregnant Eva, 43 – who’s currently filming her show Grand Hotel in the city – reached out to the ex-footballer.
RELATIONSHIP ISSUES
An insider says, “David told Vic that Eva had texted him asking if he was going to be around, and that when he said he was jetting out in a few weeks, they planned to catch up.
“Vic was initially put out by this as she feels left out being on the other side of the world from her husband and best friend. She has also confided in Eva in the past about her relationship issues with David, but she soon realised she was overreacting. She knows she’s a bit sensitive at the moment.”
