Spencer: “Becoming a dad proves my love for Vogue is real”

Former MIC playboy Spencer Matthews can’t wait to have a family with pregnant fiancé Vogue Williams

He was Made In Chelsea’s bad boy with a neverending string of girlfriends, whom he often admitted cheating on.

But former Lothario Spencer Matthews seems to have turned over a new leaf since meeting Irish model Vogue Williams, with the loved-up couple revealing last week that they’re expecting their first child.

Spencer, 28, and Vogue, 32, shared their happy news two months after they got engaged. Spencer said at the time, “I’ve known Vogue was The One for a long time. We’re very happy and in love. She’s my best friend.”

But insiders say friends were initially sceptical about the relationship, and didn’t believe Spencer would settle down.

A source says, “Some of Spencer’s friends hadn’t taken his relationship with Vogue seriously and treated her as ‘just another’ of Spencer’s girlfriends. Some of his female friends hadn’t made much of an effort to get to know her, which has been hard for Vogue. But this shows how serious they are.”

Spencer began dating Vogue – who was previously married to Westlife star Brian Mcfadden – in 2016 after they met on reality show The Jump, and have been inseparable ever since.

Now, sources say Spencer is determined to show he’s a changed man. The insider reveals, “Spencer’s a bit fed-up with the doubters – he says he’s done everything to prove his love for her. He’s hoping their baby news will put an end to any doubts. Becoming a dad will make him step up and show everyone the man he can be.”
