Loved-up TV presenter Scarlett Moffatt credits her new man for helping her beat her body demons and insecurities

he appeared S happy as she touched down in Florida ahead of filming the Saturday Night Takeaway finalé last week, beaming as she walked hand-in-hand with boyfriend Lee Wilkinson.
And the pair looked besotted with one another as they later frolicked in the hotel pool.
Now, despite being plagued by insecurity in the past, Scarlett Moffatt has told friends that her new man makes her feel more confident than ever.
A source says, “It’s early days but things are going really well. After a difficult few months, Lee has really helped put a smile back on her face. He’s always telling her how much he fancies her, and she says that’s helped her regain her confidence. She feels like pinching herself; she can barely believe she’s finally got her fairy-tale ending.”
Scarlett, 27, has endured a tough time recently. Last month, she was caught up in a scandal when she came under fire for reportedly attending gruelling boot camps and taking diet pills in order to slim from a size 18 to a size 8 for her 2016 DVD

She also had to contend with rumours she’d played a part in the breakdown of Ant Mcpartlin’s marriage to Lisa Armstrong, after Scarlett shared a picture taken in her bedroom in February, which showed a framed photo of her cuddling up to Ant and co-presenter Declan Donnelly.
But insiders say personal trainer Lee – an old friend she began dating in December – has kept her strong.

The source says, “Lee is really laid-back, and he’s taught Scarlett there’s no need to worry about things she can’t change. He’s been by her side when she’s been upset over the DVD backlash, and he’s helped her pick herself back up. He’s assured her everything’s going to be OK.”
Scarlett split from her longterm boyfriend Luke Crodden last October amid claims he struggled to deal with her rising fame after winning I’m A Celeb! in 2016. At the time, sources also told Closer how Scarlett’s focus on her weight had caused problems in the romance.
But insiders say Lee has taken her stardom in his stride and is hugely supportive.
The insider reveals, “Luke found it hard having a relationship in the public eye, whereas Lee is really chilled about it. He loves seeing Scarlett doing so well for herself and just wants her to enjoy the perks of her success. She wants to spend all her time with him, so the fact he was willing to drop everything to go to Florida with her made her really happy.”
And friends say fitness model Lee is helping Scarlett – who has opened up about her battle with anxiety and panic attacks – to feel comfortable in her skin.
The former Gogglebox star famously dropped five dress sizes and slimmed from 11st 4lbs to 8st ahead of her DVD release. However, she was targeted by online trolls, who blasted her for appearing to put the weight back on.
Taking to Twitter earlier this year, Scarlett wrote, “Who are these people who think it’s OK to call women for the way they look... too skinny, too fat, too old, not enough make-up etc.” She added, “Stop it with your bullying words!”
More recently, the star – who’s thought to be a size 14-16 – admitted, “It’s really affecting my anxiety. I spend days crying and putting on a brave face.”

The source adds, “Scarlett’s original workout schedule and diet was too strict to stick to – she’s too busy to spend hours in the gym every day. She’d love to lose a dress size but that isn’t her priority now. Lee’s been the secret to helping her accept her body and be herself.
“When she was with Luke, she was really focused on her fitness and figure, and in hindsight she feels that put pressure on the relationship. She won’t make that mistake again. Lee makes her feel so good about herself, she doesn’t feel the need to stress about weight.
“Lee’s always telling her how hot she is and how much he loves her curves, especially her boobs and bum. For the first time in years, Scarlett feels like her life is exactly where she wants it to be.
