“I flew back and forth to Paris for my wedding shoe fittings”

If I had to describe my style in three words, they would be sassy, boho and chic. My wardrobe is a real mix of high street and designer, but I love smaller, independent brands as well. One of my close friends is a personal shopper at Harvey Nichols, which is very handy! She did my fitting for my wedding dress and we’ve been friends ever since. She lets me know when new stock arrives, so I’ll race to the shops to get in there first before things sell out. I’ll mix up designer looks with pieces from Zara, Topshop and ASOS. I’m not an impulse buyer. If I really love something, I might treat myself, but if it’s expensive, I’ll wait and then go back and get it for a special occasion. The most expensive item in my wardrobe is a black lace jumpsuit by Stella Mccartney. It cost £2,000, but I’ve worn it loads of times, so it was a good investment. I don’t really follow any rules when it comes to dressing. I think it’s about being aware of your body shape and wearing what makes you feel good. Apart from that, I always follow the old legs or boobs rule. There are a few things in my wardrobe that I will save for my three daughters – Halle [15] has already got a few bits and pieces from me. She actually asks me to choose her outfits sometimes; I can’t believe my teenage daughter likes my style! We share clothes sometimes, too. Wes [her footballer husband] is great at buying gifts. He bought me a Bentley as a wedding present, but my favourite gift is the diamond ring he got for my 40th. I don’t know where it’s from, but it’s beautiful and I love it!”
