What can we expect from the new series?
BEN: It’s the toughest course yet, but I think our competitors are better prepared than ever. They’ve been out training hard and have raised the bar. Would any of you like to take part yourselves?
ROCHELLE: Ben took part in the first series and he did really well, but Kammy and I got told that we’re not allowed to do it for insurance reasons – and I’m still standing by that… Rochelle, Marvin [husband Marvin Humes] took part in a version for charity back in 2015, what did he say it was like?
R: He actually has a go this time as well! We’ve got a few celebrities who pop up this series, which was fun. B: Only one celeb did better than him. We can’t give anything away, though! Do you all hang out together?
R: Whenever we go out for dinner after we finish filming it’s like we’re out with Justin Bieber or Harry Styles – people are mobbing Kammy! CHRIS (AKA ‘KAMMY’): I’m just riding the crest of a wave… Rochelle, you are mum to Alaiamai (almost five) and one-yearold Valentina; did you take the girls in to work?
R: Alaia was one when we started this… B: She’s like the fourth member of the team. R: She is always with us and, fortunately, Ninja Warrior is filmed in the summer holidays. She’d be fuming if I went on-set without her. K: We filmed this when Rochelle was pregnant and she didn’t tell us… B: Rochelle wouldn’t come to the bar with us.
