Gemma: “I’ll marry Arg before we have our baby”

As she celebrates some special news, Gemma Collins plans her dream wedding with boyfriend Arg

he feared her baby S dreams were over last year when doctors told her she had a low egg count but, last week, an elated Gemma Collins revealed that experts had reassured her she shouldn’t struggle to have children.

Speaking on This Morning with boyfriend James “Arg” Argent, the 37 year old gushed, “My follicles started growing again, which was absolutely amazing. The doctor said to me ‘you’re under no pressure, there’s no rush’.”

And insiders say Gemma – who has yo-yoed between a size 12 and a 22 over the years and is currently a size 18-20 – is now focused on planning a lavish Essex wedding with Arg, 30, and is determined to get her dream body for their big day.

A source says, “Since finding out about her fertility, Gemma and Arg are feeling much less stressed. She wants them to get married before they try for a baby. She’s thinking of a wedding in Marbella and says it’ll be the motivation she needs to lose some weight. She’d love Arg to pop the question this summer, get married early next year and then start trying for a baby on the honeymoon.”

And sources say despite the good news about her fertility, cautious Gemma – who suffered a devastating miscarriage in 2012 with an ex-boyfriend – has started saving for a backup IVF fund.

The source adds, “Gemma doesn’t want to stress about having a baby, but she’s told pals it’s still sensible to have a backup plan in case she struggles to conceive naturally in the future. She can be a bit of a spender, but she’s trying to put money away for an IVF fund. It’s all coming together for Gemma; she’s got the man and she’s looking forward to having the wedding and family she’s always wanted.”
