Lauren on Joey’s release: “I can’t wait to spend the night together… I want a baby now!”

She’s weathered S her fair share of ups and downs since finding love with jailed criminal Joey Morrison in 2016 – enduring a painful split last August after struggling to cope with her boyfriend being behind bars.
But Lauren Goodger could finally be getting her fairy-tale ending after insiders claimed Joey – who was handed a 16-year sentence for drugrelated offences in 2009 – could be released temporarily later this month.
SECRET TRYST
And sources say Lauren – who revealed to Closer in March that she’d been celibate for two years – can’t wait for the pair to finally be intimate and has pulled out all the stops for what could be their romantic first night.
A source reveals, “Lauren and Joey have always stayed in contact since their split last year and she’s admitted to pals that she’s never really been able to get over him. She’s insisted they’re not officially back together, but she knows how explosive their chemistry will be when they see each other. She’s been so excited about them finally spending an evening together and is hoping he will spend his first night out of jail with her. He’s due to be released for a couple of days on a temporary licence.”
Before their split last year, broody Lauren described her desperation to start a family with Joey, who is expected to be fully released at the end of the year. And when asked whether she would prefer to wait until Joey has served his full sentence before they tried to conceive, she replied, “No, we’re doing that now. I want to have a family and I hope that it happens soon! I’ve made no secret of the fact that I want a baby and the
sooner the better.”
Now insiders say Lauren, 31 – who was snapped with a photo of Joey as her phone screensaver and recently sported a personalised “JOEY” number plate on her Mercedes car – is still hoping to have a baby with him.
The source says, “Lauren knows she’s not in a stable relationship with Joey yet, but she knows him really well and thinks he’d make a great dad. She’s been longing to have a baby for ages and doesn’t want to wait any more. She says she can always figure things out with Joey afterwards, but having a baby is a priority.”

And after overhauling her body – dropping from a size 10-12 to a 10 after liposuction, working out and adopting a juicing regime at the start of the year – Lauren’s told pals she cannot wait to show off her sexy lingerie.
A source says, “Lauren’s so confident with her body now and has splashed out on sexy lingerie. She cannot wait to see the look on Joey’s face if they finally get to be together and be intimate. She’s been hitting the gym three times a week and sticking to her juicing cleanse so she looks perfect for him.”
Lauren’s romance with Joey has been notoriously rocky since they first went public in September 2016. They broke up for good last August, when Joey was moved to a maximum security prison, restricting his visitation rights. Breaking down on Loose Women, Lauren confessed at the time, “He wasn’t getting out for another year and I couldn’t wait no more.” But in November, Lauren sparked reports they were back on when she was photographed visiting him in prison. Insiders also revealed that the reality star had been in business with Joey for over a year, as they were both listed under “people with significant control” for a company called LJM Management.
PLANS FOR THE FUTURE
And Lauren’s told pals she’ll do whatever she can to help Joey re-adjust to life on the outside.
A source reveals, “Lauren is determined to make life for Joey as easy as possible when he’s out. She’s told him she’ll help him find somewhere to live and she’s already bought him loads of designer clothes. She’s insisted he’s The One and now he’s getting out, she cannot wait for them to see if they will have a future together. It’s been so tough with him in prison, but she’s convinced it’s going to be perfect once he’s released.”
But friends and family are urging Lauren – whose engagement to Mark Wright ended in 2011 after a ten-year romance – to take things slowly.
The source reveals, “Lauren’s pals are happy for her, but they don’t want her to rush into anything. She won’t listen and has said she always rushes in head-first when she’s in love. It’s the only way she knows how to be. She’s so excited and doesn’t want anyone to ruin this moment for her.”
