-

Caroline Flack and Andrew Brady shocked fans C when they announced they were to marry last week, despite getting together just three months ago.

The pair, who started dating in February, posted a picture on Instagram, with Caroline, 38, sharing a picture of her ring and telling followers, “He’s put it on my finger and it won’t come off ... so I’ve said yes #chooselove.”

Just last month, the pair were reported to have split briefly amid cheating claims – rumours which Andrew, 27, strenuously denied.

And after being met with criticism, with CBB star Andrew being labelled a “desperate reality TV Z-lister”, Love Island host Caroline hit back, Tweeting, “He’s my boyfriend... he’s lovely to me... while you weirdos are taking time to write mean comments… I’ll get back to my love nest.”

Some fans were quick to offer their congratulations, while others expressed shock over the speedy proposal, with one commenting, “Are you kidding? Do you even know the guy?”

Last week also saw controversy over reports that actress Sheridan Smith, 36, was engaged to her new toyboy boyfriend, insurance broker Jamie Horn, 28, after meeting him on Tinder just three months ago.
