LISA’S ENGAGED TO HER ‘SOULMATE’

She’s undergone a complete body overhaul over the past few years, shedding a whopping 12st – and now Loose Women star Lisa Riley has even more reason to smile after revealing she’s set to wed her secret boyfriend of four years.

The former Emmerdale actress, 41, announced her engagement to her “soulmate” Al on social media last week, flashing her engagement ring and Tweeting: “Yes, I can now confirm the rumours are true... I have got engaged... My soulmate and best mate and love of my life.

“Al is the best thing to have ever happened to me... We have absolutely NO date set for ANY wedding day, just happy together... Zero fuss, just firmed our togetherness.”

The TV presenter has been open in the past about her desire to have children but, earlier this month, she revealed that after trying IVF for some time, she and Al had decided to move on after unsuccessful results.

She said, “I went through it all and my other half was unbelievable. My readings were rubbish. I’ve tried it for seven months, but it’s not for me.

“I am a woman with a fantastic partner and it’s OK to not have a child. All my girlfriends have got families, and I am godmother to some of them.

“You think, ‘Am I fulfilled? Have I done everything?’ But I have a lovely life and I am blessed with that.”
