Panicked Jordan goes ‘all-out’ to find husband No.4
With her marriage over in everything but name, Jordan is desperate to move on before her ex Kieran Hayler as she juggles three men in a bid to find her next lover
She’s been on a dramatic mission to prove she’s moved on following her marriage split from estranged husband Kieran Hayler earlier this month – partying at clubs across the UK, going out bra-less, flirting with a string of reality stars and reportedly enjoying a fling with toyboy footballer, Shane Duffy.
And last week, Jordan even left Kieran – who as Closer went to press was reportedly considering moving out of the family home – while she enjoyed a romantic trip to Belgium with reality star Kris Boyson for her 40th birthday party.
Kris – who featured in Holly Willoughby’s dating show Meet The Parents, and E4’s Five Star Hotel alongside Holly Hagan – posted a photo with the former glamour model to mark her milestone birthday and added their location at the Hotel Dukes’ Palace in Bruges.
But sources say Jordan – real name Katie Price – is still desperate to line up as many potential love interests as she can to ensure fans see her move on before Kieran manages to beat her, with rumours she’s also been seeing a third man, a well-known male model.
ATTENTION
A source reveals, “Katie was happy to spend her birthday with Kris because she knew he’d post it on social media and it would attract attention. She’s determined to prove to Kieran how quickly she can move on, but she’s not relying on Kris for her happy ending. She’s starting to panic and has told friends she’s got to go all-out to line up other men. She’s been in touch with loads of single male reality stars on social media, going through her old contacts, messaging old flames, and asking everyone she knows to set her up with available hot guys – the more famous the better. She’s been seeing a famous model and has even admitted sending old snaps of herself from her glamour model days to some US reality stars.”
Closer recently reported how the mum-of-five – who faced reports last week that she was set to star in the new series of Celebs Go Dating – was dreaming of marriage and another baby with footballer Shane, 26. But pals say the dad-of-two – who was caught up in a cheating scandal last year when a woman posted a pic of him in her bed, leading his long-term partner to brand her a “whore” – got cold feet after their fling was exposed, which sent Jordan into an even bigger panic. She also enjoyed a wild night out with Love Island’s Rykard Jenkins at Sheesh, in Essex, recently.
The source says, “Turning 40 has always been a huge source of anxiety for Katie, so she went crazy in the run-up to her birthday and her clinginess made Shane jump a mile – though she’s not giving up hope
of something more with him. That’s why she had to line up Kris for the romantic trip away – she needed a birthday date to wind up Kieran.”
Meanwhile, Kieran’s ex, Laura-alicia Summers recently told Closer that it was only a matter of time before the former stripper would have had enough of being under Jordan’s thumb.
SEXY SNAPS
Now it seems he’s not wasted any time trying to move on himself – “liking” several saucy pictures on Instagram, including a sexy snap of Jamie O’hara’s ex, Elizabeth-jayne Tierney, as well as a string of the Love Island contestants and, more recently, a picture of Jordan’s close friend, Kerry Katona, 37, in her underwear.
And pals say Kieran – who shares children Jett, four and Bunny, three, with Jordan – is on a mission to get the ultimate payback after the years of humiliation he’s suffered as punishment for his cheating with her two best friends, and allegedly the couple’s nanny.
The source says, “Kieran doesn’t want to just fade into the background and insists he’ll find a celebrity girlfriend and be part of a power couple to rival Katie and whoever she ends up with. He thinks he’s got a good chance, given he’s younger than her and he’s back in the gym honing his body, trying to
get into the best shape possible so he can bag a young, hot star. If he gets with the right girl, he thinks he can have the whole celebrity couple package of a reality show, endorsements and joint interviews – and he knows Katie would hate that!”
Jordan’s wild behaviour mirrors how she acted following her bitter split from ex-husband Peter Andre, 45, in 2009 – going out clubbing and moving on quickly with her next husband, Alex Reid, 42, which she lived to regret. Just last week, cage fighter Alex won a court injunction against her sharing any more private images of him after Jordan allegedly showed explicit photos of him to a TV studio audience. He also claimed he’d been left suicidal over the ordeal, insisting Jordan’s “malicious antics” left him believing “life would be best without me in it”.
LOSING POWER
And pals say Jordan’s petrified she’s losing her power to rein control over her men.
The pal adds, “Katie thrives on being able to be in the driving seat, and losing this case with Alex has shaken her and made her realise she’s not invincible like she thought she was. It’s made Kieran act even more rebelliously, to the point where she’s beginning to worry he could get the upper hand and beat her to finding new love. She’s determined he won’t win.”
