Kelly: “Jeremy loves my new curves”
After years of dieting, friends say Kelly Brook has insisted she’s happier than ever as a healthy size 14 2014
She looked S blissfully happy as she soaked up the sunshine in Greece with her boyfriend of three years Jeremy Parisi. And showcasing her figure in a white bikini, insiders say Kelly Brook has told pals she’s more body confident than ever in her size 14 curves.
A source says, “Kelly says in her younger years she was always thinking about her body and worrying about how she looked, but Jeremy gives her real confidence and she feels great. She’s confident stripping down to a bikini because she knows he loves her body. She’s been slimmer in the past, but Jeremy says he loves her curvier.”
Kelly had previously credited the Atkins low-carb diet for staying trim, and used it to shed three inches around her waist in four months in 2015.
But last month, the 38 year old insisted she was happy to embrace her fuller figure, revealing, “When you get older you settle into your skin and realise that how you look is not really what’s important. To get to an age where you go, ‘This is who I am, wrinkles and all, saggy boobs and all’ and think, ‘Whatever’, just makes you really happy.”
The source says, “Kelly always felt it was a struggle to stay a size 10 and hated being on diets. Now she’s relaxed her attitude and enjoys eating well and having a glass of wine in the evening. She’s really happy and feels like she’s growing more confident the older she gets.”
COMPLIMENTS
Last week, the star raised eyebrows on Loose Women when she admitted Italian model Jeremy was the “parent” in their relationship, adding, “I’m always the person who’s like, ‘Let’s have another drink, let’s have a dessert’ and he’ll be like, ‘You had a dessert last night, you don’t need one tonight,’ or, ‘You had a drink this afternoon, you don’t need another one.’”
And insiders say while Jeremy showers her with compliments, Kelly admits he tries to keep them healthy and active, too.
The source adds, “Jeremy loves Kelly’s curves and would never want her on a diet, but he’s a really healthy person and loves to be active.
“He’s always trying to get them to work out together or cook a healthy meal rather than order a takeaway. Kelly’s told friends she doesn’t mind when he tries to rein her in. She knows he’s only thinking of her.”
ROLE MODEL
Kelly – who suffered two tragic miscarriages in 2011 – has spoken about her desire to have children, revealing earlier this year, “I’ve got money, my own home and I’ve got my independence and all these amazing things, but I don’t have children.”
The source adds, “Kelly says Jeremy is the love of her life and makes her happier than anyone else ever has. She’s so excited about their future and said as long as she has him by her side, she’s content. She’s feeling so great about her relationship and her body. Her main goals are to be happy and healthy and with Jeremy, she feels she’s both.”
